  Divided No More
Reweaving Our Lives; Renewing the World
  by Parker J. Palmer
  Presented at Rhodes College
  Memphis, Tennessee
  September 8, 2002

            In
this talk, noted author, educator and visionary leader, Parker
Palmer explores the relationship between the inner, spiritual
life and our activities and work in the world. Using stories
from the realms of government, medicine, social activism and
business, Palmer illustrates the consequences of our divided
lives and the healing that comes when people listen to their
hearts and follow the voice of higher truth. As united selves
our inner and outer lives work together, allowing us to be more
conscious of the choices we make, and guiding us to ensure that
                those choices are life-giving.
