Literature as an
Invitation to Spiritual Growth

Welcome to the explorefaith.org online book group—an opportunity for study and discussion open to anyone interested in pursuing spirituality through literature. discussion guide written by The Rev. Margaret Gunness. Rev. Gunness presents her insights and thoughts about the book, and then poses questions for follow-up and further discussion. We highly recommend that you read the book and not simply the discussion guide. That way you'll better understand the guide and be able to discuss the book online with other book group members. Those who would like to join an online discussion are able to do so on the book group pages of our bulletin board. There you will be able to explore topics further, ask additional questions and share your comments and ideas with people studying the same text.

Before a new book was presented online, Rev. Gunness read and discussed each of the books with a “face to face ” book group. Perhaps you also can start a live book group where you are, and use the online study guide to direct your discussions.

Finally, we welcome your suggestions for books, issues or questions that you might particularly like to see explored and discussed. If you have any questions, please let us know. explorefaith.org's book group is open to everyone. We hope you'll enjoy each title, and that it will present a fresh voice and enlightening ideas.
