Longing for Love
Gracious God, I long for love that is certain. The love that others offer sometimes feels frayed and flimsy; my love, too, can feel strained and contrived. When I turn to You, I want to be assured by your presence, but sometimes your love feels distant and unreal. When love is less than I would like it to be, give me the strength to quiet my heart long enough for your touch to fill it and make it whole. I ask this for the sake of your love. Amen.
